Cytometry Resources

The International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC) is the professional organization for scientists utilizing multidisciplinary, advanced technology for the measurement of cells and cell processes. ISAC defines cytometry broadly as the characterization and measurement of cells and cellular constituents for biological, diagnostic and therapeutic purposes and embraces the fields of cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, cell physiology, pathology, immunology, genetics, biotechnology, plant biology and microbiology. There are many benefits to you and your organization from participating in ISAC, not the least of which is access to Cytometry Part A, the Society’s official journal. Current Protocols in Cytometry is also available to ISAC members at a special rate.

Join scientists from around the world at the 32nd Congress of ISAC to be held June 10-14, 2017 in Boston.  Cyto2017 is the premier meeting for the presentation of the latest advancements in the field of flow and image cytometry. Over 100 vendors will display their products.

Welcome to CYTO University, ISAC’s on-line portal for cytometry education. Education has been part of ISAC’s mission since the beginning, and has grown to include scientific tutorials and pre-congress courses at the annual CYTO conference, and very successful workshops and courses in parts of the world where cytometry expertise and infrastructure is developing. While live courses are effective and very useful, student access is limited by geography, time constraints, and finances, leaving much unmet demand. CYTO U aims to address this need by providing peer-reviewed courses, recorded courses and tutorials from CYTO conferences, and a topical webinar series, among other interactive elements.
